Beskrivelse
Formålet med projektet er at undersøge en hel børneårgangs sundhedsmæssige udvikling fra børnehaveklassen til og med 3. klasse i Ballerup Kommune, når der gennemføres en mange årig omfattende intervention, der som noget meget væsentligt indeholder ekstra timer i idraet. - Interventionen retter sig i særlig grad mod de svageste og mindst aktive grupper af børn.
Succeskriterier vil være, at ophobningen af risikofaktorer, antallet af inaktive børn, antallet af fede børn og antallet af børn i dårlig kondition, bliver mindre i interventionsgruppen, og/eller at andre af de centrale sundhedsindikatorer udvikler sig mere positivt end i kontrolgruppen.
